Hawaiian Recordings
I was browsing through Amazon the other day and came across a remarkable recording by an American group call The Rose Ensemble. They have recorded a disc of Hawaiian vocal traditional music that spans over 300 years, most of which has not been recorded before.
Na Mele Hawaii is sung expressively and the attention to detail in the language would suggest that this group was from the Islands and not from St. Paul, Minnesota.
